The Earl of Arudnel is one of the most peace-loving nobles of England. He is host to numerous parties in London and the country and has become rather successful. Perhaps not the greatest celebrity of the city he is expected to soon be the talk of all the English (and even foreign) nobility. This is looked upon with some distaste by both the Catholics and the Puritans, but he's an Earl, and they're not.
