At the height of the War in Hell, Alexander Gray receives two letters…
You are, on two seperate occasions, met by what are apparently small demons. Both hand you a letter, before running off, laughing manically:
Dear Sir Alexander,
It has come to my attention that a number of my imps have been spending far too much time in your hands. As you may be aware, there is presently a war on, and I'd rather have them fighting, if it's all the same to you.
As such, I would like to propose a deal: you stop stealing my lieutenants, and I will not eat your soul any time soon. Involving yourself further with the war will result in you receiving my special attentions; I'm sure accessing Di Yu will require some form of human sacrifice, and I'd hate to see you volunteer.
I remain, your honourable servant,
Baal
Dear Sir Alexander,
Your habbit of distracting my minor demons is becoming most vexing. I do hope you stop it soon, as I would hate to have to destroy you and everyone around you. It would be such a tiresome chore.
In future, I think it would be best for all of us, particularly yourself, if you didn't involve yourself any further with the ongoing war. We presently have Baal nicely cornered in his final fortress, and supplies of entertainment are running considerably low.
Please send my warmest greetings to you and your family.
Yours, as ever,
Dalembertus
