A Spanish witch, Master Silva is a self styled 'Cargo Recovery Expert' who has spent the past ten years working for the powerful Merchant Companies of Albion. This is widely believed to be why he has been granted a Letters Patent by the King, marking him as a Denizen of Albion and giving him all the rights of a true Citizen (aside from eligibility to hold political or military office) despite being of Spanish birth.

Master Silva has sworn an oath pledging ultimate loyalty to King Matthew, and as a result has been cast out of the Catholic Church.

He is an Honorary Proprietor in the East India Company and apprentice in the Sisters of Hecate.
